Jarrod Sadulski, PhD
Globally Recognized Human Trafficking Expert

Jarrod Sadulski, PhD Bio

Dr. Sadulski is a globally recognized expert in anti-human trafficking, with a specialized focus on combating labor and sex trafficking. He conducts extensive research and serves as a consultant to policymakers, governments, law enforcement agencies, and educational institutions across the United States, Central and South America, Thailand, and India.

Jarrod’s research is distinctive because he conducts firsthand interviews inside correctional facilities with incarcerated human traffickers. By engaging directly with human traffickers, he gains rare, practitioner-level insight into trafficking methods, recruitment strategies, network structures, and emerging trends through examining the crime through the lens of those who are responsible for it.

Jarrod has testified as an expert witness before both the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Senate and provided a briefing to U.S. Presidential Situation Room personnel regarding human trafficking.

Jarrod is a retired commissioned officer with 26 years of service in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, where he led anti-human trafficking and international law enforcement interdiction operations. Jarrod is the Chairman of the Board and co-founder of the nonprofit organization GUARD Against Trafficking. Jarrod is a published author and a criminal justice professor. Through Jarrod’s leadership and work in anti-human trafficking, he has received the Coast Guard’s Inspirational Leadership Award and American Military University’s Wallace Boston Leadership Award. During his military service, he earned the Global War on Terror Service Medal. He frequently conducts training to law enforcement and other stakeholders across the United States and globally on anti-human trafficking.
